The Accounting firm of John L. Massanova, CPA and Business Consultant is located in Runnemede, New Jersey and is committed to prividing excellent accounting, tax and business management to a wide variety of businesses. John, who founded the firm in 1984, has spent over 30 years providing financial, tax and management advisory services to a wide range of both commercial and individual clients. Mr. Massanova, in addition to holding a license as a Certified Public Accountant, also holds a license in the State of New Jersey as a Certified Municipal Chief Financial Officer, which allows John to run any municipality in the State of New Jersey. John managed, for the owners, the second largest Satellite Television Master Antenna System in the United States for over 15 years. He then successfully negotiated the sale of the system to one of the most profitable Cable Systems in the United States.
John managed, for the owners, for the last 10 years the ticketing company in Salt Lake City that handled the ticketing for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.
John managed, for clients Cellular Car Phone Billing Company in Houston, Texas, along with Mortgage Company and Construction Company in South Florida.
John negotiated a royalty of $1,000,000 from a major manufacturer in the home improvement field, for a client who developed a major home improvement venting product which is currently being utilized in today's housing market.
John also oversaw the construction of self storage units in Florida.
John's position with his clients is more along the lines of a Controller or Manager, especially when it is not cost effective to hire a full time in-house Accountant, Controller, or Manager; he fills this void as your part time Controller or Manager. Working closely with the owners or partners on a daily basis as would the internal Controller or Manager without the overhead of having a full time person in that position.
John was the former Chief Financial Officer of the Borough of Runnemede responsible for both the funding and build out of the new municipal building along with the new police stateion, total project exceeded $3,000,000. In the ten years as CFO, he was able to update the police department with new facilities, computers, vehicles and vests. The fire company was updated with a new fire truck, ambulance and equipment. John was responsible for bringing the trash back into town at a savings of $100,000 while also employing 4 Runnemede residents, along with the build out of the new Runnemede Library. John has also been the CFO of several other municipalities in the State of New Jersey.
John Massanova, along with handling the above items, has been, himself, a partner in a metal manufacturing business, along with franchise operations and an investment firm.
